Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. The conversion runs inside your browser on your own device. Your images are never sent to our server or anyone else.

Can I combine several JPGs into one PDF?

Yes. Leave Output on One PDF, add your images and put them in order with the arrows. Download PDF then joins them, one image per page.

Does the PDF lose quality?

No. JPG photos are copied into the PDF without being compressed again. The only exception is a phone photo stored sideways with a rotation flag: it is turned upright first and saved again at quality 92.

Which page size should I choose?

A4 is the paper size used in most countries and US Letter is the one used in the United States and Canada. Fit image makes each page exactly the size of its image, which suits slides and screenshots.

Do portrait phone photos stay upright?

Yes. The rotation stored in the photo is applied, so pages look the way the photo looked on your phone.

Is there a file size limit?

Each file can be up to 50 MB and 100 megapixels, which covers photos from phones and most cameras. A file that takes longer than 2 minutes to convert is stopped so the page stays usable.
