Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion runs inside your browser on your own device. Your images are never sent to our server or anyone else.
Which languages can it read?
English. Text in other languages may come out with missing accents or wrong letters.
Can it read handwriting?
Printed text works best. Handwriting is often misread.
Can I use a scanned PDF?
Not directly. Take a screenshot of the page or export it as an image, then add the image here.
How do I get the best result?
Use a sharp, straight image with dark text on a light background. Crop away everything except the text, and make sure the letters are not tiny.
